AI-Generated Policy

With the rise of AI-generated logos and images there are a few things to consider before using these for your business:

  • With the complexity and lower resolution of the AI content, it can be very time consuming to recreate these logos/images for high resolution printing. In most cases, vector art is needed for optimal printing output.

  • Some printers may ban AI-generated images entirely, particularly for logo design, due to the inability to trademark them. Not being able to trademark your branding may put you and the printing company at legal risk.

  • Because generative AI tools are trained on vast datasets of existing images, they can unintentionally mix and match elements from protected brands to create an output. Using an AI-generated logo that too closely resembles an existing registered trademark exposes your business to infringement risks, regardless of whether the similarity was intentional.

  • After reading these warnings, if you’d still like to proceed we will need you to sign-off stating that DGI Creative will not be held liable if your AI logo or artwork faces legal repercussions.
